I'm not going to write up the specifics on what happened because needless to say the British armour made my French realize that the war would indeed be short fought for them. We played two games, the first was a Cauldron, I got to defend the town. My biggest mistake I'll have to admit, was not knowing my enemy. I knew all the crazy Brit rules, tally-ho and what not but what I didn't realize is that on top of that their guns are AT 7 :( On my first turn I double timed it with one platoon to get into a better spot only to get shot up by a single tank. It didn't help that my dice failed me at that moment as you will see later on. My company broke on turn four and the game was over in less than an hour.
Because the first game went so quickly and we spent so much time getting the terrain out we decided to roll up another scenario. My second game was a Fighting Withdrawl. I think by big mistake this time around was agreeing to play another game. This one went a little longer but the result was basically the same.
Anyway... on to the pictures.
The table...
