D-Day Battle, Part 2...

The fourth turn saw the arrival of an 81mm mortar platoon and another assault platoon. The Shermans rolled forward and took out more machine guns, the infantry was close behind







The German anti-tank guns took out the remaining Sherman tanks....



and their artillery wasn't any kinder....



The infantry pushed forward....



A gout of flame took out the last machine gun...
