Endless waves of US infantry storm the beach. The German defenders are forced back to their secondary position.









An ambitious assault platoon jumps on their forward objective.







The engineers make their way off the beach and head for the recently abandoned German trenches.



The remainder of the stubborn Germans are "removed" from their trenches...









By turn 9 the Americans had successfully taken the first objective and had a large amount of reinforcements making their way off of the beach.

Unfortunately, we were unable to finish all 12 turns due to time constraints. It felt like I had a pretty good grip on being able to take the second objective but I still had the remaining three stands from a grenadier platoon and two understrength grenadier platoons that had made their way up to the front. All three platoons were dug in on the objective and could have been a tough nut to crack. On top of that two StuG's had finally made their way to the town to offer their support.

It was a great game. I hope to be able to do another one soon.
